OCTEC Ltd – Employment Services and YOU

At OCTEC we’ve been all about People for over forty years. We pride ourselves on being the largest Not for Profit Disability Employment Service organisation with a focus on achieving the best result for the person we are working with. We assist people from 15 to 65 years of age.

To be successful in what we do, we believe in focusing on the holistic needs of the person with disability.

This means not just understanding the barriers people with a disability face to employment, but the associated obstacle’s they can face, e.g. housing, language/literacy/numeracy issues, domestic violence, family support or lack of, as well as the need for qualifications to be job ready, but also assisting with referrals to the external stakeholders the person may need to address these issues.

We work hand in hand with our community partners to build capacity for our participants, utilising a network of support which will help them to succeed.

We also work closely with employers to gain meaningful employment and career pathways, wherever possible. These could be entry level positions, apprenticeships, skilled workers and professionals.

Put simply – its People Helping People.
